The Recreation Vehicle Dealers’ Association (RVDA) presented Prime Time Manufacturing, North America’s fastest growing RV company, with the prestigious Quality Circle Award for the third straight year in a ceremony kicking off the 2012 RVIA trade show in Louisville, Kentucky.
Four Prime Time brands –
, LaCrosse, Sanibel, and Tracer – were recognized for scoring 80 percent or above in overall dealer satisfaction as measured by RVDA’s Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) survey.

The DSI survey, which determines the Quality Circle Award winners, rates manufacturers’ performance in eight core areas: vehicle reliability/quality, parts support, dealership warranty support, vehicle design, sales support, sales territory, competitive price/value, and overall dealer communications.
According to SouthbendTribune.com, A new RV company plans to invest more than $2.8 million in a start-up motorhome manufacturing venture in Elkhart.
Nexus RVS, LLC is expected to begin hiring production, supervisory and support associates by the end of the year at its plant located at Elkhart County Road 13 and Reedy Drive, adjacent to the Indiana Toll Road on the city’s north side.
By 2013, Nexus expects to employ up to 90 people.
Nexus RVS, which is currently headquartered at Notre Dame’s Innovation Park, will manufacture Class B and Class C motorhomes. Production should begin this winter at its 109,000-square-foot Elkhart plant.
Fifteen-year industry veteran Claude Donati, a former vice president of Gulfstream Coach in Nappanee, started the company this summer.
“It will be our goal to elevate the importance of Elkhart to the retail customer as we are going to sell motorized products directly to the end user,” Donati said in a news release on Tuesday.
Nexus RVS recently received a property tax abatement from the city of Elkhart, as well as tax credits and training grant funding from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.
