The Class A Tuscany 40DX luxury diesel pusher makes its public debut. This new single rear-axle model is fully equipped with features like fully reclining theater seating, retractable 60-inch LED Smart HDTV, master-style rear bathroom, and buffet dinette that seats four comfortably.

Tuscany XTE Class A diesel-powered motorhomes upgrade this year to all new high-gloss glazed cabinetry and the choices for interior decors are fresh and exciting. The new Resort Cherry and cabinetry looks the same as that you’d find in units retailing in excess of $400,000, but the Tuscany XTE does it at a fraction of the price.

Luxury Class A gas-powered Challenger motorhomes are showcasing a new bunkhouse floor plan 37TB. This triple slide-out combines a bath-and-a-half design with a convertible bunk bed area intended to provide years of enjoyment, even after the kids leave the nest. Space is thoughtfully created with bunks that transform into a sofa or full length wardrobe when not in use.

The A.C.E. Class A Motorhomes combine the best of a Class A and Class C RV and continue its impressive line-up with the new29.3. It’s the first A.C.E. to offer campers looking for an exterior kitchen and an abundance of living space with a full wall slide-out. Focusing on how owners use their coach, the booth dinette has been purposely located on the camp side.

Axis and Vegas Recreational Utility Vehicles (RUV) continue to impress both seasoned and new RV-ers with the new 25.1 model. The second floor plan is a traveler’s delight, with a large L-shaped sofa and entertainment area in the back of the unit. The front half of the coach has an oversized dinette with seating for four.  For those who need plenty of spaces to sit while traveling, the new 25.1 is a perfect fit.

Look no further for the ultimate motorhome as both the Class A & Class C Outlaw Toy Haulers sport a full rear garage. These lifestyle haulers offer the most flexibility of any motorhome today. The Outlaw is ready for anything from a mobile office to pet grooming business or even a hunter’s ultimate hideout.

Bunk beds are in high demand this year and TMC responds with the new Super C. The diesel-powered 35SB is built on a Ford®F-550 chassis and contains a diesel engine. Automatic hydraulic leveling jacks, full wall slide-out, and 5500-watt LP generator are some of the features operated wirelessly with Rapid Camp™. An exterior kitchen is optional for those who love the smell of the grill.

All models including ACE, Axis, Challenger, Chateau, Citation, Four Winds, Hurricane, Miramar, Outlaw, Palazzo, Siesta, Tuscany, Tuscany XTE, Vegas and Windsport motorhomes have something new to offer during Hershey. Power patio awnings with LED lighting, Rapid Camp™ easy set-up and stunning HD-MAX™ exteriors are just the beginning. The choices are endless and it’s definitely an exciting time to buy the motorhome that’s “Made to Fit”!  Stop in at the Camping World RV Booth #512.

“They’re cranking. Business is booming in every aspect,” said Frank Davis, a Winnebago sales manager. Davis said in two days he sold 29 motor coaches and a total of more than 200 items including travel trailers and campers.

Shoppers are out in full force checking out the latest models and taking advantage of the low interest rates as low as 3.9 percent for a 20 year loan, Davis said. So far, he said, he hasn’t heard anyone say gas prices are not preventing them from making a purchase

“It’s like buying a Corvette and asking about fuel economy,” he said.

Mario Pelletier of Annapolis, Md. said his motor coach gets about seven to eight miles per gallon but the trade-off is he and is wife, Denise, save money by pulling into camp grounds where it costs about $30 to $40 a night versus $200 for a hotel room.

He was canvassing the show in search of accessories, things like a GPS designed for Winnebago owners listing camp sites, service stations and restaurants. He was also checking into electrical isolation systems and tire sensors.

“Camping is a lifestyle. You have to love it,” he said
