Atlanta, GA – Interstate StarRV, the premier service provider of RV F&I products backed by Interstate National Dealer Services and its umbrella company, Interstate National Corporation, announced they will make available to interested RV dealers, warranty coverage for unsold Carriage, Inc., manufactured RV units on dealers’ lots throughout the country beginning immediately.

“The unfortunate closing of Carriage has left almost 1,000 RV units on dealers’ lots without manufacturer’s warranty coverage and would be sold “as is” to the buyers,” Ricky Wolfe, Interstate National CMO announced. “This is unacceptable, and Interstate StarRV wants to provide peace of mind for these dealers and agents as well as their customers by offering a premier warranty product when purchased,” Wolfe concluded.

This is the third time StarRV has offered warranty coverage on RV units whose manufacturers have become an unfortunate victim of the economic downfall. This coverage will consist of one year structural and up to seven years of non-structural coverage to begin at the time of the sale, not when a traditional factory issued warranty expires which, in this case, would not exist.

Interstate StarRV will offer immediate peace of mind for dealers and consumers with coverage that includes roof, floor, sidewalls, front/rear caps and more, with no deductible on repairs which can be made at any licensed repair facility in the US and Canada. This is also a transferrable warranty product.

“This is a unique product specifically geared towards Carriage products that begins at the time of sale, not after the manufacturer’s warranty ends,” Kurt Harbeke, StarRV National Sales Manager stated during the RVIA conference. “Besides the exclusionary coverage offered, Carriage owners will enjoy 24/7 RV Tech support and Concierge service, travel expense, food spoilage, air transportation, pet benefits and many more benefits that hundreds of thousands of StarRV customers have enjoyed for over 35 years,” Harbeke concluded.

Michigan International Speedway racetrack officials have unveiled plans for a truly unique campground that will open in 2012.

APEX is a deluxe trackside campground of 20 spaces, giving camping guests the best, most exciting view of the racetrack – all from the apex of Turn 3.

Each trackside campsite is 20- x 55-feet wide and has water and electric hookups, a picnic table and grill. The sites overlook Turn 3, so guests will be able to feel the surge of 43 NASCAR stock cars at speeds of close to 200 mph.

The views and excitement will be awesome. But the personalized service is what will distinguish the campground from all others in NASCAR.

A concierge service for guests of the campground will be offered – an exclusive opportunity for fans who stay there to be pampered and catered to by a professional butler.

“We have always tried to make our customers feel like kings,” Roger Curtis, president of MIS, said. “But this new campground will go the extra mile for our guests – literally. If you need a ride to the New Holland Fan Plaza, the concierge can take you there.”

A concierge will assist guests with anything they need to enjoy a race weekend in the Michigan. Need a tee time before the race? Need a ride to the garage? Where’s the best place to dine? Need ice? Just ask the concierge for advice, guidance and assistance for most of your MIS camping and weekend needs.

Admission to APEX is $1,600 per site, plus $250 per person for the weekend, up to 10 people per site. Each guest will receive a scanner rental and weekend pit access. Two people per site will also receive NASCAR garage passes for the weekend.

Guests interested in camping in APEX should call MIS ticket agent Ian Kirkpatrick at 517-592-1285 for details. Because of the limited number of sites, spaces will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to renewal guests and then to deposit guests.

All RVs in APEX must be self-contained. APEX will open on Thursday of race week, and remain open until the Monday after the race.
