Jeep Tent Camper Trailer

Embracing the Jeep® lifestyle means sometimes packing up and heading outdoors to enjoy a weekend of camping. To make this more enjoyable, Jeep® and Mopar® have developed the perfect accessory for the Jeep® owner who wants to go camping. For years, people who are off-roading enthusiasts and enjoyed camping have had to pack tents and set up camp on the ground. Traditional pop-up campers are typically unable to negotiate rough terrain due to their small tires and lightweight frames. Now, with the development of both a Trail Edition and an Extreme Trail Edition Jeep Camper, off-roaders can pull their pop-up camper behind them while on the trail. The Jeep® Camper Trailer is the perfect way for Jeep® owners to go off-roading and take their pop-up camping trailer with them.

The Jeep® Camper Trail Edition is the way to go when the casual Jeep® trail driver wants to go family camping in the backcountry or in an established campground. The camper trailer weighs only 850 pounds and pulls easily behind any Jeep® 4X4 vehicle. This trailer is perfect for someone who wants to stop at a campsite located down a rough backcountry road far away from civilization. With 12 inches of ground clearance and 32-inch tires, this camper will go wherever your Trail Rated® Jeep® will go. With lightweight, all aluminum construction and trailing-arm suspension, the Jeep® Camper Trailer is strong enough to take the abuse of a rough trail. While folded down, the camper can hold up to 450 pounds of additional gear secured with the included hood mounted tie-downs. Once up, the camper has ample headroom and sleeps four adults comfortably either on a queen-size bed or fold-out sofa.

For the hard-core off-roader, the Extreme Trail Edition is just the ticket. With 35-inch tires, extra-rugged construction, and 15 inches of ground clearance, this trailer has the capability to go anywhere that your modified Jeep® will go. It is specifically designed to handle extreme off-highway terrain. The trailer weighs 1050 pounds, which is 200 pounds more than its little brother, the Trail Edition. This is necessary to accommodate the beefier tires, the heavier frame, and skid plating.

Both versions feature a premium pop-up canvas enclosure mounted on a rugged pull-behind trailer. They both incorporate Wrangler Rubicon design cues including 17-inch aluminum wheels, taillights, fender flares, and a rear bumper. The interiors of both versions have a stowable center table, 110-volt inverter, built-in cabinet, premium window screens, and privacy shades. Jeep® Camper Trailers can be ordered at any Jeep® dealership and come in a variety of colors: Bright Silver Metallic/Black, Flame Red, Mango Tango Pearl, and Natural Green Metallic.

Whether you are a casual camper or hard-core off-roader who likes to test the limits of their Jeep®, these new lightweight camping trailers are perfect for your next camping or off-roading trip. They offer the benefit of a lightweight recreational pop-up camper, while utilizing Jeep® design and capability to follow your vehicle over any challenging terrain you might encounter along the way to your campsite
