About 70 percent of 444 RV owners surveyed by the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association in March — as gasoline prices were climbing — said they planned to use their vehicles more than in 2004.

Roughly 27 percent said their use would not change, and about 4 percent said they would use their RVs less.
