La Mesa RV Center LogoSan Diego-based La Mesa RV Center has opened a fourth Florida location by leasing the 120,000-square-foot former Sarasota-Bradenton International Convention Center and surrounding 17 acres of land. Originally built as a Sam’s Club. It operated as a convention center for about 10 years.

LaMesa has sales and service centers in Orlando, Fort Meyers and West Palm Beach.

Earlier this week, Hillsborough County commissioners rezoned 26 acres near Plant City for Michigan-based General RV Center to open its second sales and service center in Florida.
