Campground host positions are opening up from the Lochsa River to the mountains east of Cascade.

Campground hosts meet the public and do chores around the campground.

Here are some positions:

Horsethief Reservoir about 7 miles east of Cascade off the Warm Lake Highway. The reservoir is about 260 acres.

The Lochsa Ranger District is looking for hosts at Wilderness Gateway Campground. The campground is within the Wild and Scenic Lochsa River corridor, 50 miles east of Kooskia on U.S. 12. Call Heather Berg at the Kooskia Ranger Station at (208) 926-4274.
