>POCATELLO – A California couple’s vacation is cut short as their motor home swerved off Interstate 15 Monday afternoon. Both the motor home and the brand new car it was towing rolled in the crash.

Idaho State Police said the couple was on their way up north when their RV clipped a sign by the Pocatello Creek exit. Police believe the driver fell asleep. He overcorrected and started fishtailing out of control.

The motor home acted like a dog’s wagging tail and spun the new Buick it was towing into the opposite side of the interstate.

>The campground in Pennsylvania’s Colonel Denning State Park, north of Newville, has re-opened.

It was closed for nearly a month to repair damages caused by heavy rains and flooding on May 28.

According to Park Manager Ryan Donovan, campsites are available for the upcoming, July 4 weekend.

Reservations can be made by calling 1-888-PA-PARKS or through the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources website.

>Kumho Tire USA is recalling 36,292 Kumho Mohave A/T light truck all terrain tires, sizes LT225/75R16, LT245/75R16, and LT265/75R16, produced between December 7, 2008 and June 13, 2009. The vehicle’s handling performance becomes difficult when operated under loaded conditions or when changing lanes. This condition may result in the vehicle swaying and could possibly result in a crash. Kumho will notify owners and replace the tires free of charge. The safety recall is expected to begin during July 2009. Owners may contact Kumho toll-free at 1-800-445-8646.
