Protect your RV and your family while on the road: Join Good Sam RV Emergency Road Service Today and save!
>Baxter Bulletin – Mountain Home,AR,USA
Effective 3 p.m. today, Park Superintendent Tracy King has decided to open the campground at Bull Shoals White River State Park.
The decision was based on information provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that they would be closing the flood gates at about 2 p.m. today.
“Although river levels never got close to the actual campground, I felt like it was unsafe for visitors considering the extremely high river levels and current. Our campground was not affected at all. As far as we can tell, we have zero damages as a result of the spillway releases and that is great news,” King said.
For information, call Bull Shoals-White River State Park at (870) 445-3629.

“With the price of gas going the way it it is, it’s probably going to help our industry.
“Who wants to drive to wherever they’re going to spend more on hotels?”
“If anything (the rising gas price) is going to help us,” said Tam.
