>WINCHESTER: The Douglas County Parks Department is seeking a volunteer camp host for Amacher Park.
The host is responsible for registering campers, overseeing pavilion use, daily cleaning of park facilities and enforcing park policies, as necessary. The person filling the position would live there.
The park is located along the North Umpqua River on the south side of the James A. Booth bridge that recently reopened on Highway 99.

She shares the kind of information and advice that enable people to build their competence and confidence as pat-time or full-time RVers.
>Winnebago Industries will offer free tours of its main motorhome manufacturing facility in Forest City from Tuesday, April 1 through Nov. 30, excluding holidays.
Tours start at the Winnebago Industries’ Visitors Center with a 20-minute video that gives visitors a preview of the manufacturing process they’re about to tour. Each tour lasts about 90 minutes.

RV Education 101 has bundled it’s instructional DVDs into cost saving Value Packs. Each of the three packs includes four training DDVDs (3 hours of information) that help RVers understand how an RV works, and how to maintain and use their RV. There are DVD sets for motorized or towable units.
>Gov. John Baldacci last month signed the official proclamation declaring March, 29 to April, 5, as Maine’s Discover RVing Week.
This is the third anniversary of the Discover RVing Week promotion — a statewide effort to encourage the people of Maine and its visitors to experience the RV lifestyle and to take advantage of the many opportunities to see the natural beauty of our state.
